The Association of Hellenic Information Technology Enterprises (SETPE) actively supports innovation and start-up entrepreneurship in Northern Greece by participating as a supporter of the Techstars Startup Weekend Thessaloniki, which will take place on 5, 6 and 7 December 2025 at the Regional Council Hall of the Region of Central Macedonia (64 26th October Street, Thessaloniki).<\/p>\n
The Techstars Startup Weekend Thessaloniki is one of the most significant international events dedicated to entrepreneurship and technological innovation, offering students, professionals and aspiring entrepreneurs a unique opportunity to experience the process of building a start-up in just 54 hours.<\/p>\n
From shaping the initial idea to delivering the final pitch before a panel of judges and investors, participants experience a comprehensive journey through the process of entrepreneurial development.<\/p>\n
Throughout the three-day event, teams will have the opportunity to collaborate in real time, develop innovative concepts and receive guidance from experienced mentors. This process strengthens creative entrepreneurial thinking while enhancing the way products are designed, encouraging the smart and effective use of technology.<\/p>\n
The initiative is organised by the Deputy Regional Authority for Digital Governance of the Region of Central Macedonia, as part of its effort to support innovation and strengthen the local start-up ecosystem.<\/p>\n

At the awards ceremony, SETPE will have an active presence, with its Chairman of the BoD, Mr Anastassios Manos, having the honour of presenting one of the distinctions of the evening, offered by the Association specifically for the event. In this way, SETPE meaningfully strengthens the connection between the new generation of innovative creators and the country\u2019s entrepreneurial and technological ecosystem.<\/p>\n
