The Municipality of Mylopotamos is proceeding with the implementation of a modern digital system for the organisation of its Transport Office and the management of its municipal vehicle fleet, as part of its strategy for the digital transformation of its services, in collaboration with DOTSOFT S.A.

The scope of the contract concerns the development and installation of an integrated telematics information system, which will enable the Municipality to:

• την Real-time monitoring of vehicle movements.,
• The recording and analysis of routes.
• The monitoring and scheduling of routes.
• The optimisation of the Transport Office’s operations.
• As well as the reduction of operational costs and fuel consumption.

As part of the project, the procurement and installation of the following are envisaged, among others:

• 35 telematics devices installed in the Municipality’s vehicles,
• 6 tablets installed in waste collection vehicles, along with the corresponding mobile application,
• A central management platform for fleet monitoring, control and organisation,
• As well as configuration, pilot operation, user training, and quality and security assurance services.

Particular emphasis is placed on training the Municipality’s executives, Transport Office staff and municipal fleet drivers, ensuring that the new system is fully utilised from the first day of operation.
