The “Hippocratic Days of Cardiology 2026” Conference, organised by the 2nd University Department of Cardiology of Hippokration General Hospital of Thessaloniki and the North Greece Atherosclerosis Society, was successfully concluded.

Medevents undertook the full organisation of the conference, introducing innovative methods that enhanced the experience of both speakers and participants.

The conference was held in a hybrid format, allowing delegates to participate either in person or remotely. In parallel, through Livemedia AI Transcription & Translation, international speakers and participants attending Greek-language sessions gained access to real-time translation in their preferred language, either via an audio stream or as live written text displayed on their mobile devices.

Livemedia also undertook the production and direction of the anniversary video celebrating the 40th anniversary of the 2nd Cardiology Clinic of Hippokration General Hospital of Thessaloniki.

The response from the scientific community was significant, with a total of 808 registrations recorded, while 224 delegates attended the conference in person. In parallel, the live streams of the conference reached 865 views, confirming the strong impact of the hybrid format and its ability to provide access from across Greece and abroad. The workshops also attracted considerable interest, with approximately 100 participants attending.
