MetaMind Innovations is the first spin-off of the University of Western Macedonia, established in 2021 with the purpose of commercializing research results, software solutions, and innovative services in the real market and economy. It focuses on applying advanced technologies in the fields of Artificial Intelligence (AI), the Internet of Things (IoT), and cybersecurity across critical infrastructures—such as defense, energy, and telecommunications—delivering innovative, high-added-value solutions.

Headquartered in Kozani and with a presence in Thessaloniki, our team comprises over 25 specialized professionals—including University Professors, Software Engineers, Cybersecurity Researchers, and AI Engineers—covering the entire technology value chain.

MetaMind Innovations possesses significant experience in relevant, large-scale projects within the framework of European programs (Horizon Europe, H2020), which directly relate to security, infrastructure, and cutting-edge technologies. Furthermore, its partners include Public Power Corporation (PPC / DEI), the Region of Western Macedonia, the Regional Development Fund, and other strategic entities.
