AI4Truth | Online Training on Combating Fake News with Artificial Intelligence Tools
Combating fake news through the use of artificial intelligence tools is the focus of a training session organised by the AI4Truth (AI Tools for Truth and Information Integrity) initiative as part of the Erasmus+ programme.
The event will be held online, free of charge, and aims to provide guidance in the following areas:
- understanding how misinformation spreads,
- practical strategies for identifying and addressing fake news,
- the use of artificial intelligence tools and fact-checking resources,
- strengthening critical thinking and digital literacy skills.
The training is primarily aimed at young people aged 18–30, particularly young people not in education, employment or training (NEETs), as well as anyone interested in developing digital and critical skills in the age of artificial intelligence.
The AI4Truth project is implemented by partners from three European countries — Greece, Bulgaria and Romania — and aims to:
- strengthening digital skills among young people and education professionals,
- promoting critical thinking,
- developing innovative educational tools to address misinformation in the modern digital environment.
