The conference, which took place on 16 and 17 May at the N. Louros Conference Centre of MITERA Hospital in Athens, was organized by the Transcatheter Heart Valve Department of HYGEIA Hospital and brought together leading scientists, who discussed the latest developments in the field.

The event was broadcast live in collaboration with the CTSNet platform, while full audiovisual coverage was also ensured.

Advanced Valve Therapies 2025

The "Advanced Valve Therapies 2025" conference made a significant contribution to cardiology research and education. The event was successfully organized by INVENTICS and held on 20 and 21 June 2025 at the Eugenides Foundation in Athens.

The conference served as a meeting point for leading experts in the field of valvular heart disease, presenting innovative therapeutic approaches and technologies with a focus on modern management of heart valve conditions.

The scientific coordination of the conference was led by Ioannis Iakovou, Director of the Department of Interventional Cardiology and Hemodynamic Studies at the Onassis Cardiac Surgery Centre. In a statement, Mr Iakovou emphasized that valve diseases are a major focus of the cardiology community, with their incidence expected to double in the coming years. As Mr Iakovou explained, "with the development of new methods and technology, we are now able to treat patients who were previously considered too high-risk for surgery or completely untreatable."

8th Panhellenic Chest Diseases Conference

With the organizational support of INVENTICS SA and its Medevents department, the 8th Panhellenic Chest Diseases Conference was held with great success from 19 to 21 June 2025 at The MET Hotel in Thessaloniki.

Livemedia undertook the live broadcast of the conference.

A large number of specialized scientists participated in the conference, which was highly interactive, with the audience engaging through quizzes and questions.

In statements regarding the scientific significance of the conference, Stavros Tryfon, President of the Hellenic Chest Diseases Society, noted that the event represents an effort "to stay up to date with modern and current developments in pulmonology, as well as chest diseases as a whole."

Open European Championship for Skiff and Catamaran Class Boats

Livemedia covered the Open European Championship for Skiff and Catamaran class boats, organized for the second time since 2021 by the Sailing Club of Thessaloniki, from 3 to 8 June.

The international-level sailing races, featuring three Olympic classes, were held under the auspices of the General Secretariat of Sports and the Hellenic Sailing Federation, and were organized in collaboration with the Municipalities of Thessaloniki and Kalamaria, as well as the Region of Central Macedonia.

This is a major event serving as preparation for athletes aiming to compete in the 2028 Olympic Games in Los Angeles. The championship featured top men's and women's crews in the Nacra, 49er, and 49erFX classes.

A total of 120 entries were registered, with the races featuring men's, women's, and mixed team crews.

"Stronger Together": "Obesity & Diabetes Mellitus: The New Scientific & Social Reality"

The 4th Scientific Conference of the "Stronger Together" organization, established on the initiative of New Democracy MP for Serres, Foteini Arambatzi, was held with great success in a packed hall.

Livemedia provided live broadcasting and full audiovisual coverage for the conference, titled "Obesity and Diabetes Mellitus: The New Scientific and Social Reality", which was held on Sunday, 1 June 2025, at the Elpida Resort Hotel in Serres.

A host of distinguished and renowned doctors, psychologists, nutritionists, as well as communication and social media experts shed light on the major changes taking place regarding obesity and diabetes mellitus, their interplay with menopause, and the overwhelming exposure to body image standards across social media platforms. The event aimed to inform and empower the public, particularly women.
