Softweb Adaptive I.T. Solutions acquires 51% of Alphabit Cybersecurity, strategically strengthening the Group’s Cybersecurity pillar | “Digital extroversion starts with security”

Softweb Adaptive I.T. Solutions announces that it has entered into an agreement to acquire 51% of the shares of Alphabit Cybersecurity, a rapidly growing company in the cybersecurity sector, which provides specialised services for the protection of digital infrastructures, data and applications for businesses and organisations.

The acquisition is being completed for a total consideration of €1,224,000, confirming the Softweb Group’s strategic commitment to the continuous expansion of its activities and completing its strategic plan entitled “Ecosymmetry”. The consideration may be offset through a share capital increase of Softweb, subject to obtaining the required corporate approvals. The financing of the final stage of the acquisition will also be supported by the funds raised following the company’s admission to the Alternative Market of the Athens Exchange (ATHEX). In addition, the company will prepare an Information Memorandum for the purposes of the acquisition, which will be published through its posting on the ATHEX website.

The decision to integrate Alphabit Cybersecurity into the Softweb Group represents the natural evolution of a long-standing collaboration between the two companies, with a shared objective of delivering secure digital projects and solutions to their customers. Cybersecurity is no longer a “secondary” activity within the technology ecosystem, but a critical and essential pillar for any organisation seeking to grow digitally. For the Softweb Group, this investment strengthens an area that is intrinsically linked to its core services and products, as, until now, a significant part of the cybersecurity services required for digital transformation projects was covered through strategic partnerships. Through this agreement, the Group enhances its expertise, consolidates critical capabilities and creates even greater added value by organically bringing into its ecosystem a service that has already been a key and integral part of its solutions.

The integration of Alphabit Cybersecurity enriches the Group’s ecosystem with specialised solutions covering the entire cybersecurity value chain, from governance, compliance, risk management and process certification, to technical security testing and assessments (penetration testing/red teaming), the provision of managed security services, continuous threat monitoring through a Security Operations Centre (SOC), incident response and recovery, as well as digital forensics investigations for legal purposes, supported by its own specialised digital forensics laboratory.

Alphabit Cybersecurity has been active in the cybersecurity sector since 2020, having developed a significant presence in the Greek market. Today, it serves more than 260 customers, has delivered over 400 cybersecurity projects, and holds high-level certifications (CISSP, CPFA, CPSP, OSCP+, NSE, ISO 9001, ISO 27001), along with strong technical expertise that positions it among the most trusted providers in the industry.

Indicatively, its client portfolio includes (in alphabetical order) companies and organisations such as ADAM PACK S.A., ALPHA BANK S.A., CAYO CRETA S.A., DIORAMA INVESTMENTS II, GLASSART S.A., MANIFEST S.A., PIRAEUS CAPITAL MANAGEMENT S.A., VERIDOS MATSOUKIS S.A., the Hellenic Parliament, the Hellenic Cadastre, the Unified Journalistic Organisation of Supplementary Insurance and Healthcare (E.D.O.E.A.P.), IATROPOLIS S.A., LALIZAS S.A., MATHIOS REFRACTORIES S.A., the Regulatory Authority for Waste, Energy and Water (R.A.A.E.Y.), the Association of Industries of Attica and Piraeus (S.B.A.P.), the Technical Chamber of Greece, and TIKUN OLAM HELLAS S.A.

Based on 2025 estimates, Alphabit Cybersecurity’s financial figures are expected to reach €800,000 in revenue and €200,000 in EBITDA, strengthening the Group’s financial performance and creating additional potential for increased profitability through synergies.

With the addition of Alphabit Cybersecurity, the Softweb Group establishes itself as the only Group in Greece providing integrated services and products focused on the digital extroversion of businesses and organisations, while also becoming the first “Ecosymmetry” Group in Greece. The practical foundation of this differentiation is clear and measurable, as the Softweb Group is the only provider that combines, within a unified ecosystem, the three pillars required for an organisation to achieve true digital extroversion: business software, strategic digital communication and cybersecurity. In this way, the Group can support its customers not only in “creating” their digital functions and channels, but also in promoting, developing and operating them securely, ensuring resilience, business continuity and trust.

This agreement substantially strengthens the Group’s competitive advantage by providing greater depth of expertise, higher added value per project, improved control over critical technological parameters and an enhanced integrated offering to the market. At the same time, it creates value for both customers and shareholders, reinforcing the Group’s strategic position in an environment where security is a prerequisite for growth and digital transformation.
