JOIST Innovation Park: Soft-Landing Program II “The Bridge to the African Market”
SETPE member JOIST Innovation Park is launching a new internationally oriented strategic initiative focusing on Soft-Landing Programs (SLPs).
The Soft-Landing Program II: “The Bridge to the African Market” provides strategic guidance to executives from European and international companies operating in specific sectors, who seek to expand or develop their business activities in the African market, using Zambia, in Southern Africa, as an entry point.
JOIST Innovation Park, in collaboration with Mr Export To Africa, the Hellenic-African Chamber of Commerce and Development and 28Digital, offers a unique strategic business experience to company representatives seeking new partnerships. The programme connects participants with key institutions, innovation ecosystems and specialised advisors who understand the complexities of business expansion into Africa. The programme is held under the auspices of SETPE, SEVE and Enterprise Greece. Supporting organisations of the initiative include the Federation of Industries of Central Greece (SBCG) and the Federation of Industries of Thessaly (SΒΘΣΕ).
The business mission is scheduled to take place during the week of 1–5 June 2026. Lusaka, Zambia (Africa), has been designated as the arrival point for participants and the location where the programme’s activities will be held.
The programme is specifically aimed at entrepreneurs operating in the following sectors:
· FinTech
Technology (Software & Hardware)
Artificial Intelligence
Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG)
Construction sector
During the implementation of the programme, participants will gain valuable insights into market entry strategies for Africa, as well as best practices for business development within their respective sectors. At the same time, they will explore significant opportunities for business growth and strategic partnerships across the African continent. The programme includes presentations, roundtable discussions with representatives from relevant sectors, B2B meetings with African businesses, business organisations, chambers of commerce and institutional bodies, visits to companies and industrial facilities, as well as an organised tour of Lusaka, the capital of Zambia.
