PRESS RELEASE | SETPE: Networking, collaborations and extroversion at the Summer IT Party
With the participation of representatives from the Government, Local Authorities, the academic community and the business sector, the Annual Summer IT Party was held in Thessaloniki, organised by the Association of Artificial Intelligence and Information Technology Enterprises of Greece (SETPE).
The established summer gathering of SETPE took place on Thursday, 25 June 2026, hosted at Shark Bar | Restaurant in Kalamaria, and once again served as a reference point for the technology, innovation and digital entrepreneurship community.
During the evening, SETPE members and friends discussed the latest developments in the IT sector and highlighted the importance of maintaining strong communication between businesses, industry stakeholders and the academic community.
Executives and employees of IT companies, heads of chambers of commerce and research institutes, representatives of organisations, university professors and journalists stepped away, for a while, from the intense pace of everyday life and, against the backdrop of the sea and the sunset, shared thoughts, experiences and ideas for the next day of digital technology.
The event served as a platform for meaningful networking, creative exchange of ideas and the development of new relationships based on trust and collaboration.
The guests were welcomed by SETPE President of the Board of Directors, Anastasios Manos, and the members of the Board.

The presence of representatives from different areas of public life highlighted SETPE’s role as a connecting point between entrepreneurship, technology, education, innovation and institutions. At the same time, it reaffirmed Thessaloniki’s importance as a dynamic hub for the development of the IT sector and modern digital technologies.
SETPE continues to support ICT companies, strengthen the extroversion of its members and contribute to the development of a strong, collaborative and competitive technology ecosystem with national reach.
