For the second consecutive year, “The DPOs’ Evening” brings together experts from businesses, organisations and universities in Thessaloniki to discuss the role of Data Protection Officers (DPOs) in Greece, the challenges posed by Artificial Intelligence, risk management, and the protection of personal data in the digital world.

The open in-person event is co-organised by the Interdisciplinary Postgraduate Programme (IPP) “Law and Informatics” of the Department of Applied Informatics of the University of Macedonia and the Department of Law of Democritus University of Thrace, and the Alumni Association of the IPP “Law and Informatics”, with the support of the Association of Hellenic Information Technology Enterprises (SETPE).

“The DPOs’ Evening” will take place on Tuesday, 17 March 2026, at 18:00, at the Thessaloniki Concert Hall, Building M2 (CR-1 Hall, Ground Floor). It builds on the success of last year’s event, which initiated an open dialogue on the role of DPOs in the modern digital landscape.
