DOTSOFT S.A. has undertaken the implementation of the project “Digitisation and Documentation of the Archives of the Society for Macedonian Studies and Creation of a Digital Museum”, within the framework of the National Recovery and Resilience Plan “Greece 2.0”.

The project is implemented on behalf of the Information Society S.A., with the Society for Macedonian Studies (E.M.S.) acting as the Operating Body.

Over the next 24 months, our team will work to showcase the cultural heritage of Macedonia, transforming it into a modern, interactive and open digital environment.

The new Digital Museum will provide the public with access to rare documents, artworks, manuscripts and historical archives of the Society for Macedonian Studies, bringing cultural heritage closer to everyone.

The scope of the project includes:

• The digitisation, documentation and scientific processing of the Society for Macedonian Studies’ cultural assets, including its Library, Art Gallery and archival material.
• The creation of a Digital Museum and an online portal, through which the digitised cultural heritage of Macedonia will be showcased and made accessible to the public.
• The procurement of equipment, specialised content management software, as well as training and support services for the pilot and production operation of the systems.

This initiative makes a significant contribution to the preservation, promotion and showcasing of Macedonia’s historical and cultural heritage, making the Society for Macedonian Studies’ material accessible to researchers, educators, students and the wider public.
