The Joint Venture "DOTSOFT S.A. – EVOLUTION PROJECTS" has undertaken the implementation of the project "Digital Transformation Actions of the Municipality of Almopia," as part of the Municipality's strategy to leverage modern technologies and upgrade the services provided to citizens, visitors, and businesses.

The project's objective is the design, procurement, and installation of applications and technological solutions that will contribute to improving the management and functionality of the urban environment, delivering more efficient, innovative, and high-quality services.

The implementation framework encompasses the development of a comprehensive smart digital solutions project, featuring:

• Smart accessibility system for mobility-impaired individuals, aimed at enhancing safe and equal access to public spaces.
• Smart City / Municipal Guide, featuring the cataloging and promotion of local businesses along with useful information for residents and visitors.
• Smart water quality measurement systems, for the systematic monitoring of critical environmental parameters.
• Έξυπνο σύστημα προειδοποίησης και αντιμετώπισης κινδύνων, για την παρακολούθηση και έγκαιρη αντιμετώπιση φαινομένων όπως πλημμύρες και δασικές πυρκαγιές.
• Σύστημα έξυπνης άρδευσης, με στόχο την αποτελεσματικότερη διαχείριση των υδάτινων πόρων και την παρακολούθηση των καταναλώσεων.
• Comprehensive infrastructure for protection against cyberattacks and remote work system, enhancing the security and operational continuity of the Municipality's digital services.

Particular emphasis is placed on the interoperability of the new systems, information security, connectivity, and the potential for future expansion of the digital infrastructure. The implementation includes, among other things, the installation and configuration of hardware and software, development of interoperability services, pilot operation, and training for users and administrators.

The project is funded under the Program "Digital Transformation 2021–2027", co-financed by the European Union through the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) and national resources through the Public Investment Program.
