Lancom expands its telecommunications service portfolio with the addition of GNM-IX, an international Internet Exchange connecting service providers, content networks, and digital platforms across multiple points of presence within a broader peering ecosystem.

By integrating GNM-IX into its portfolio, Lancom enables clients in Greece to access Internet Exchange services directly through its network, without requiring the setup of their own PoP abroad. Lancom interconnects with GNM-IX via a 100G Port in Sofia, providing the necessary infrastructure to deliver this new service.

Networks utilizing the service gain access to a peering ecosystem that includes major international networks such as Meta, Akamai, CDN77, and Hetzner Online. As a result, they can leverage more direct traffic exchange routes, additional routing options, and greater flexibility in designing and expanding their network infrastructure.

For Lancom, the new service further expands its existing connectivity portfolio, enhancing its capability to cover a broader range of international interconnection needs through a single point of partnership.
