Cosmos Business Systems announces that it has been selected as the final contractor in the open electronic tender launched by the Region of Western Greece for the project entitled “Integrated Intelligent Management System for Transport Operations and Business Resources of the Region of Western Greece (PDE)”.

The project is being implemented under the “Western Greece 2021–2027” Programme, co-financed by the European Union (ERDF) and national funds through the Public Investment Programme (PIP). The total budget amounts to €2,000,000.00 (including VAT).

The project aims to create an integrated operational environment for the intelligent management of transport operations, the monitoring and management of incidents, as well as the optimal utilisation of the Region of Western Greece’s operational resources and infrastructure, enhancing coordination, preparedness and real-time decision-making.

The solution includes the supply, installation, configuration and commissioning of an integrated system, with indicative subsystems including:

1) Operational Monitoring & Incident Management

Central operational monitoring and incident management platform, with supporting equipment for the operations centre (including, indicatively, video wall, teleconferencing infrastructure and control/management systems).

2) Telematics & Fleet Management

Central fleet management and telematics platform, including the installation of onboard equipment in vehicles and the provision of mobile terminals for crews, as well as a mobile application for operational use.

3) Building & Operational Resource Management

Central building and resource management platform, with capabilities for integrating data from IoT sensors and developing interoperability interfaces (APIs) with third-party information systems.
