Cosmos Business Systems, in collaboration with Dell Technologies, is hosting an event dedicated to the Artificial Intelligence infrastructure that will shape Greece over the next decade, taking place on Friday, September 4, 2026, at the Makedonia Palace in Thessaloniki.

Titled "Building Artificial Intelligence Infrastructure for Greece 2030," the event will assemble representatives from state government, the public and private sectors, as well as the academic and research communities. It aims to create a platform for meaningful dialogue on the prerequisites needed to foster a robust and sustainable Artificial Intelligence ecosystem in Greece.

Discussions will focus on the national Artificial Intelligence strategy, the transition from a digital state to an AI-enabled state, and the underlying technological infrastructure necessary to develop and deploy AI applications: computing power, Data Centers, Cloud, data, and cybersecurity.

In parallel, special emphasis will be placed on the role of universities and the research community, as well as the bridge between research and the productive economy, enabling scientific knowledge, technology, and entrepreneurship to act synergistically toward building the Greek AI ecosystem of 2030.

The agenda will unfold across three core pillars: National AI Strategy and state transformation, the technological foundation of Artificial Intelligence, and the alignment of Universities, Research, and the Productive Economy. Panelists and representatives from public and private entities, the tech sector, as well as leading academic and research institutions will participate in the discussions.

A key highlight of the program will be a Fireside Chat with the Minister of Digital Governance, Mr. Dimitris Papastergiou, focusing on the country's national AI strategy, upcoming priorities, and the critical infrastructure required to transition Greece into the new era of Artificial Intelligence.

The discussion and thematic panels of the event will be moderated by journalist Ms. Maria Samolada.
