Cosmos Business Systems Undertakes the Support of the Municipality of Thessaloniki’s Central IT Infrastructure
Cosmos Business Systems has been awarded, following a competitive tender process, the project “Supporting the seamless, secure and efficient operation of the Central IT Infrastructures of the Municipality of Thessaloniki”, reaffirming its strong and consistent presence in the implementation and support of critical ICT projects for Public Administration and Local Government.
The project involves the provision of specialised support, maintenance and management services for the central IT infrastructures of the Municipality of Thessaloniki, with the aim of ensuring business continuity, security and the efficient operation of the Municipality’s services.
The Municipality of Thessaloniki operates an extensive and complex Information and Communications Technology (ICT) network, featuring a Data Centre and numerous regional services across the city. The infrastructure includes critical networking, security, data storage, virtualisation and VoIP telephony systems, as well as Cloud services provided through G-Cloud.
Through its expertise and extensive experience in highly complex projects, Cosmos Business Systems contributes to strengthening the digital operations of the Municipality of Thessaloniki and local government more broadly, supporting critical infrastructures that serve the Municipality’s daily operations and, consequently, citizens.
