OPEKA is strengthening the security of its information systems through the procurement of modern equipment and cybersecurity services, with the aim of enhancing the protection of the Organisation’s digital infrastructures and ensuring the seamless operation of its services.

The implementation of this project is undertaken by Cosmos Business Systems, further confirming its strategic role in delivering critical technology and cybersecurity projects for Greek public sector organisations.

The project involves the procurement, installation, configuration and commissioning of cybersecurity equipment and software at OPEKA’s central facilities in Athens.

As part of the project implementation, the scope includes, among other activities, the deployment of modern secure networking and firewall solutions, the upgrade of existing infrastructures, the migration of configurations, the integration of backup and SIEM solutions, as well as the provision of specialised support services and security incident response.

Particular emphasis is placed on strengthening the Organisation’s resilience against modern cyber threats, enhancing business continuity and ensuring compliance with the requirements arising from the current cybersecurity regulatory framework, including the NIS2 Directive.

Upon completion of the project, OPEKA will have a stronger, more secure and resilient technology environment, capable of reliably supporting its critical operations and the services it provides to citizens.
