DOTSOFT S.A. undertakes the implementation of a comprehensive digital transformation project for the Municipality of Tripoli, bringing modern technological solutions to the service of citizens, visitors, local businesses and municipal services. The project aims to enhance everyday life, improve the Municipality’s operational efficiency, and create a smarter, safer and more sustainable urban environment.

The project includes a range of modern digital solutions covering critical areas of the Municipality’s operations: controlled parking, the promotion of the city and local entrepreneurship, energy management of municipal and school buildings, as well as the protection of information infrastructures against cyber threats through secure remote working capabilities. Through these interventions, the Municipality of Tripoli will acquire tools that leverage data, IoT technologies, mobile applications and modern security infrastructures, contributing to informed decision-making and the delivery of higher-quality services.

In the field of urban mobility, an Intelligent Controlled Parking System will be implemented, supporting improved monitoring and management of available parking spaces. The project scope includes a central controlled parking and Municipal Police management platform, a mobile application for citizens, a mobile application for Municipal Police officers, as well as an application for processing permanent residents’ parking permit requests. In addition, the project includes the installation of 84 magnetic parking occupancy sensors and inspection equipment for the Municipal Police.

Through the implementation of the controlled parking system, the Municipality will be able to facilitate the search for available parking spaces, support legal parking practices, provide more efficient services to permanent residents, and enhance the operational capabilities of the Municipal Police. The utilisation of sensors will enable the collection of real-time field data and provide improved monitoring of parking conditions.

In parallel, an Intelligent City Guide featuring local businesses will be developed, serving as a digital tool for promoting the local economy and showcasing the city. Through a management platform and mobile/web application, citizens and visitors will have access to useful information on local businesses, points of interest and services, while local professionals will gain a modern channel for promotion and engagement with the public.

A significant part of the project focuses on the energy management of municipal and school buildings. The project includes a management platform, as well as telemetry equipment and energy sensors, specifically four electricity consumption measurement devices, four liquid flow temperature measurement devices, and four oil consumption measurement devices.

The installation of the platform and telemetry equipment will enable the monitoring of critical energy data, a better understanding of the buildings’ energy performance, and the support of energy-saving interventions. In this way, the Municipality will be able to improve resource management, enhance the energy efficiency of municipal and school facilities, and contribute to reducing its environmental footprint.

The project also includes an integrated cybersecurity protection infrastructure and the provision of a remote working system, strengthening the security, business continuity and resilience of the Municipality’s digital services. The solution incorporates network cybersecurity software that supports network protection, secure access to systems and remote working capabilities.
